This guide shows you how to view, add, and manage additional disks for your virtual machines in Server Monkey Cloud VPS. Expand your storage capacity with ease.
Step 1: Access Disk Management

Navigate to the Disks section to view available disks and add new ones. Click "Add Hard Disk" to create additional storage for your virtual machine.
•Go to your Server Monkey service management panel
•Click "Disks" in the left sidebar under Service Management
•View existing disks with their details: Name, Bus/Device, Format, Backup status, Size
•See current disk information:
•Disk 1: Main system disk (scsi0, qcow2, 12 GiB)
•Disk 2: EFI disk (efidisk0, qcow2, 528 KB)
•Disk 3: TPM state disk (tpmstate0, raw, 4 MB)
•Click blue "Add Hard Disk" button (top right) to add new storage
Step 2: Configure New Disk

Define the additional disk size, choose its bus, and select disk format. Configure backup settings and confirm to create the new disk.
Disk Configuration:
•Size [GB]: Enter disk size in gigabytes (e.g., 5, 10, 50)
•Bus: Choose connection type:
•IDE: Legacy interface, slower performance
•SATA: Standard interface, good compatibility
•VIRTIO: High-performance virtualized interface (recommended)
•SCSI: Enterprise interface, advanced features
•Format: Select disk image format:
•Raw disk image (raw): Fastest performance, larger file size
•QEMU image format (qcow2): Compressed, supports snapshots
•VM image format (VMDK): VMware compatible format
•Backup: Toggle ON/OFF to include disk in backup operations
•Click green "Confirm" button to create the disk
